Ministry of Public Health Officials Emphasize Hygiene and Awareness to Prevent Infectious Diseases in Nangarhar

Dr. Abdul Jabbar Haidar, Head of Health Promotion at the Ministry of Public Health, met with Mawlawi Aminullah Sharif, Director of Public Health in Nangarhar Province.

During the meeting, Dr. Haidar underscored the critical role of hygiene in preventing and mitigating outbreaks of infectious diseases. He also highlighted the need to sustain public awareness campaigns as a vital component of disease prevention.

Mawlawi Sharif affirmed Nangarhar’s continued efforts to curb the spread of infectious diseases. He stressed that timely intervention and close collaboration with the Ministry are essential to ensure early treatment and contain transmission.
