MoPH and Türkiye Discuss Expanding Health Cooperation at Ataturk Hospital

The Deputy Minister for Health Services of the Ministry of Public Health, Mawlawi Abdul Wali Haqqani, held a meeting at Ataturk National and Specialized Hospital with Türkiye’s Ambassador to Afghanistan, Sadin Ay Yıldız, to discuss the expansion of health cooperation between the two countries.

The meeting was attended by the Deputy Minister for Health Services, members of his delegation, the Director of Ataturk Hospital, and the Turkish delegation. Discussions focused on expanding health cooperation, equipping Ataturk Hospital, strengthening the capacity of healthcare workers, and enhancing the diagnosis and treatment of patients through the telemedicine program.

Mawlawi Abdul Wali Haqqani emphasized the importance of expanding health cooperation and described Türkiye’s support in equipping the hospital, building the capacity of healthcare workers, and improving patient diagnosis and treatment through the telemedicine program as important and necessary.
