MoPH Chief of Staff Visits Recovered Child Airlifted from Kandahar and Praises Medical Team
Sheikh Mohammad Tahir Halim, Chief of Staff of the Ministry of Public Health of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, visited a child transferred from Kandahar to personally assess her condition and praised the healthcare workers involved.
The child, Kulsoom, was suffering from a serious condition caused by a foreign object in her airway. She was urgently airlifted from Kandahar to Kabul, where doctors successfully performed a procedure to remove the object.
On behalf of the Ministry’s leadership, Sheikh Halim expressed his appreciation to all the healthcare workers involved in saving and treating the child. He also recognized and rewarded them, and encouraged them to continue their work with dedication.
