MoPH Conducts Air Pollution Control Inspections Across Kabul City

Officials of the Air Pollution Control and Reduction Department of the Environmental Health Directorate of the Ministry of Public Health conducted inspections of various premises in Kabul city to help prevent respiratory diseases and improve air quality.

During the inspections, the relevant checklists were completed, and the owners of the inspected premises were instructed to obtain health cards. They also provided commitments that, going forward, they would not operate without installing smoke filtration systems.

Furthermore, health awareness messages, informational materials, and the air pollution reduction guidelines were explained and distributed to the owners of the premises to ensure that their activities comply with the standards of the MoPH.
