MoPH Holds Three-Day Training on Communication, Risk Communication, and External Relations
A three-day training program titled "Communication, Risk Communication, and External Relations" was conducted for staff of the Ministry of Public Health.
The program was organized by the Ministry's Directorate of Spokesperson, Information and Public Relations, in collaboration with the Directorate of Coordination, International Relations and Aid Coordination, and the Health Promotion Department, with support from the World Health Organization (WHO). It aimed to strengthen the capacity of staff members. During the training, participants received comprehensive instruction on communication, risk communication, communication management during public health emergencies, strengthening external relations, effective public information dissemination, and strategies for raising public awareness.
Throughout the program, participants were introduced to the principles and methods of effective communication, the delivery of impactful health messages, effective engagement with the media and communities, and communication management principles and procedures during disease outbreaks and other public health emergencies.
