MoPH Internal Audit Director Visits Helmand, Holds Talks with Governor on Strengthening Health Service

The Director of Internal Audit at the Ministry of Public Health, Mawlawi Mohammad Saleem Haqqani, has visited Helmand Province with his team, holding talks with Governor Mawlawi Amanuddin Mansoor.

Helmand’s Public Health Director, Naqibullah Fateh, also attended the meeting, which focused on improving health services and tackling existing challenges. The governor pledged full cooperation with central authorities, stressing the importance of such visits in addressing issues and upgrading facilities.

Haqqani said the ministry would work jointly with provincial officials to overcome obstacles and strengthen healthcare provision, taking Helmand’s specific circumstances into account to ensure essential services reach the public.

The audit director and his technical team also inspected the Helmand Directorate of Public Health, directing officials to deliver required services without delay.
