MoPH Signs $318,247 MoU with CAF to Provide RMNCAH Services in Samangan and Logar
The Ministry of Public Health has signed a one-year MoU worth 318,247 with Care of Afghan Families (CAF) to provide essential Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn, Child and Adolescent Health (RMNCAH) services to mothers and children in Samangan and Logar provinces.
The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aims to improve the quality of healthcare services, expand access to healthcare, and reduce health-related challenges among local communities. Under the MoU, 32,411 residents of the two provinces will benefit from healthcare services delivered through 45 health facilities, while 190 employment opportunities will be created in the healthcare sector.
Meanwhile, representatives of CAF reaffirmed their commitment to implementing the project over the one-year period in accordance with all established standards, while giving particular attention to meeting the healthcare needs of the local communities.
