MoPH Signs $456,136 Contract with RHDO to Expand Healthcare Services in Balkh

The Ministry of Public Health has signed a $456,136 contract with the (RHDO) organization to strengthen and expand healthcare services for residents of Balkh province.

This contract was signed for a period of approximately one year with the aim of improving the quality of healthcare services, increasing access, and reducing public health challenges. With its implementation, around 40,950 residents of Balkh province will benefit from healthcare services through a 50-bed infectious diseases treatment hospital, and 42 individuals will also be provided employment opportunities in the health sector.

Representatives of the RHDO organization assured that the project will be implemented in accordance with all established standards and that special attention will be given to meeting the healthcare needs of the population.
