Capacity-Building Training Program Held for Teachers and Administrative Staff of Kateb No.1 Non-Profit School

A capacity-building training program titled “The Role of Food and Safe Drinking Water in Health and the Learning Process” was organized by the Capacity-Building Team of the Food Analysis and Surveillance Department under the Directorate of Food Risk Analysis, Surveillance and Standards Development. The program was conducted for 48 teachers and administrative staff of Kateb No.1 Non-Profit School in District 6 of Kabul City, with the aim of strengthening their knowledge and capacity in this area.

The program aimed to enhance participants’ knowledge and capacity on the importance of consuming safe and healthy food and drinking safe water to promote students’ health and support their physical and mental development. During the program, participants were provided with information on the risks associated with unhealthy foods, the importance of safe drinking water, and adherence to health and hygiene principles in educational settings. These topics were also discussed with participants through interactive discussions and exchanges of views.
