Construction has commenced on a new 240-bed provincial hospital in Samangan, following concerted efforts by the Ministry of Public Health leadership and a decree from the esteemed Directorate of Ministers and Samangan Province.

The initiative stems from a request by the Public Health Department of Samangan province to enhance the provincial hospital from 80 beds to 240 beds, aiming to address the healthcare needs of the populace effectively. Additionally, the Ministry of Public Health has not only increased the hospital's capacity from 80 to 240 beds but also expanded its staffing from 193 to 481 positions, demonstrating a commitment to delivering high-quality and standardized healthcare services to the residents of Samangan Province and its surrounding areas.
