Technical Meeting Held to Review EPHS and BPHS Health Service Packages

The meeting was chaired by the Director General of Policy and  Planning of the Ministry of Public Health, Dr. Syed Rasool Mangal, and attended by representatives of relevant directorates, donors, and partner organizations.

During the meeting, the revision of the EPHS and BPHS packages, the implementation phases of these services, service levels, human resource requirements for health facilities, equipment lists, and infrastructural capacities were comprehensively reviewed.

The integration of vertical programs, expansion of service coverage, and the provision of quality, standardized healthcare services—particularly at primary, secondary, tertiary, specialized, and sub-specialized levels—were presented and discussed in detail.

Participants shared technical views and suggestions, and three sub-committees were formed to assess human resource needs, prepare standardized equipment lists, and finalize the detailed structure of the service packages to ensure timely implementation.
