His Highness, the Minister of Public Health of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali at his office , met with representatives from the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).

The discussion focused on enhancing healthcare facilities, strengthening the capacity of Afghan medical personnel, and improving the treatment of drug addicts and cancer patients. The meeting also explored ways to encourage OIC member states to contribute to Afghanistan’s healthcare sector.

His Highness Jalali welcomed the delegation and emphasized the crucial role of OIC’s support in strengthening and expanding Afghanistan’s healthcare system. He urged member states to actively engage in collaborative initiatives and assistance programs.

In response, the OIC representatives reaffirmed their commitment to supporting Afghanistan’s healthcare sector and broader areas of cooperation.
