MoPH Launches Three-Day Workshop to Review Performance of Specialized and Tertiary Hospitals

A three-day workshop has commenced at Ibn-e-Sena Emergency Hospital, organized by the Directorate General of Curative Medicine of the Ministry of Public Health, to review the past year’s performance and activities of specialized and tertiary hospitals.

During the ceremony held for this purpose, attended by Deputy Minister for Health Services Mawlawi Abdul Wali Haqqani, Director General of Curative Medicine Dr. Wahdat Alokozai, Director of Planning and Programming Dr. Abdul Satar Sehat, Director of Specialized and Tertiary Hospitals Dr. Aminullah Momand, directors of central hospitals, and a number of other officials, discussions focused on improving hospital services, strengthening management systems, addressing challenges, and developing practical plans to ensure quality healthcare provision.

The Deputy Minister for Health Services described the workshop as a valuable opportunity for better planning, coordination, and experience sharing. He urged hospital officials to address key issues and improve the quality and timeliness of healthcare services.

He also expressed hope that the workshop would contribute to stronger coordination, improved healthcare services, and the development of effective future plans.

The Director General of Curative Medicine highlighted the workshop’s importance, outlined its objectives, and urged hospital officials to actively participate.

 

Similarly, the Director of Specialized and Tertiary Hospitals provided several instructions and recommendations to the heads of central hospitals and urged them to further enhance the quality of service delivery.

Meanwhile, the heads of central, specialized, and tertiary hospitals presented reports on their activities and services, and shared their views, suggestions, and challenges with central officials.
