New Data Collection System for Tertiary Health Services to Be Implemented in Hospitals

To enhance the capacity of 35 chief physicians, HIMS officers, and trainer specialists from relevant departments across ten teaching hospitals in Kabul, the Ministry of Public Health’s Directorate of Monitoring and Audit conducted a three-day workshop. This workshop aims to introduce a newly developed mechanism and standardized forms for collecting data on tertiary health services.  

During the inauguration, Dr. Enayatullah Enayat, Director General of Monitoring and Audit, highlighted the importance of the TC-HMIR forms, emphasizing the critical need for accurate data collection aligned with the ministry’s strategic priorities, underscoring the importance of transparent health system management and evidence-based decision-making.
