Deputy Minister of Health Services Inspects 100-Bed Temporary Hospital for Earthquake Victims in Khas Kunar

The Deputy Minister for Health Services of the IEA Ministry of Public Health, Mawlawi Abdul Wali Haqqani, during his visit to Kunar province, inspected the designated temporary 100-bed hospital for earthquake victims at the military base in Khas Kunar district.

The purpose of this visit was to assess the health services provided at the hospital and to closely monitor the patients injured in the earthquake.

During the visit to the hospital, Dr. Wahdat Alokozai, Director of Therapeutic Medicine at the Ministry of Public Health, along with a technical team, inspected the hospital’s services and assured the Deputy Minister for Health Services, Mawlawi Abdul Wali Haqqani, that the hospital is fully equipped to provide all essential health services to the earthquake-affected citizens and that the medical team is fully committed to delivering care and addressing the needs of the patients.

The Deputy Minister for Health Services commended the efforts of the hospital’s medical staff and urged them to continue supporting the affected citizens during these difficult times, leaving no effort spared in delivering health services.
