Officials from the Food and Drug Department of Balkh Public Health Directorate inspected 8 pharmacies, 1 laboratory, 9 clinics, and 1 private clinic. As a result, 3 pharmacies were closed for violations, 1 dental clinic and the private clinic were shut for operating without licensed doctors, and the laboratory was closed for lacking proper equipment and specialists.
This assistance was provided to support emergency response efforts and was handed over to the officials of the Kunar Provincial Public Health Directorate.
