MoPH Deputy Visits Isteqlal and Mental Health Hospitals, Emphasizes Quality Patient Care

Mawlawi Abdul Wali Haqqani, Deputy Minister for Health Services of the Ministry of Public Health, accompanied by a technical delegation, visited the Isteqlal National and Specialized Hospital and the Mental Health National and Specialized Hospital.

The Deputy Minister for Health Services reviewed patient care, the quality of health services, and the operational process, in addition to touring various departments of the two hospitals.

In addition, the Deputy Minister provided necessary guidance to healthcare workers to improve the quality of services and urged hospital officials and medical staff to treat patients with care and fulfill their professional, humanitarian, and ethical responsibilities with sincerity.

He stressed that any negligence or lack of attention toward patients is unacceptable and that all patients should be provided with the required healthcare services in a timely manner.
