MoPH Signs Healthcare and Nutrition Services Contract with AYSO for Ghor Province and Badghis Province

The Ministry of Public Health signed a $492,328 contract with the AYSO organization to strengthen and expand healthcare services for residents of Ghor and Badghis provinces.

The one-year contract was signed to improve the quality of healthcare services, increase access, and reduce public health challenges. Once implemented, it will benefit 440,000 residents of the provinces by providing nutrition services through basic health centers, and will also create job opportunities in the health sector for 49 individuals.

Representatives of the AYSO organization also assured that the project will be implemented within one year in full compliance with all set standards and will place special emphasis on addressing the healthcare needs of the population.
