The Minister of Public Health of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali, has officially inaugurated the Shaheed Habib Rahman Hospital in the Zazi Aryob district of Paktia province, a facility constructed at a cost of approximately 56 million Afghanis.

In attendance at the ceremony were Alhaj Khalil-ur-Rahman Haqqani, the Minister of Refugees and Repatriations of the Islamic Emirate, alongside numerous other high-ranking officials from various Emirate institutions and local leaders. This occasion marked the first instance in which a hospital, located in the remote Sargul village of Zazi Aryob, was established entirely through the personal funding of an Afghan national, Haji Sulaiman Saleh, and equipped with advanced medical facilities.

Congratulating the local residents, Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali hailed the initiative as a monumental stride towards enhancing the welfare of the community. He further stressed that this development would bring about a transformative shift in the delivery of healthcare services, significantly elevating the standard of care available to the populace.

Additionally, the Minister underscored the Islamic Emirate's concerted efforts in finalizing critical infrastructure projects for the public’s benefit, referencing this healthcare center as a prime example of Afghan-led progress. He also expressed his sincere gratitude to Haji Sulaiman Saleh's family for their generous contribution, reaffirming the Islamic Emirate's steadfast commitment to backing all charitable activities that contribute to the country’s reconstruction and development.

Meanwhile, Alhaj Khalil-ur-Rahman Haqqani also commended this initiative, noting that it was the first time a project of this magnitude had been undertaken in such a remote region of Paktia. He described the hospital’s construction as a significant achievement, furthering the government’s efforts to provide essential services and ease of access to healthcare for Afghanistan’s citizens.
