Three-Day Training on Codex Food Standards Launched for Ministry Staff
A three-day training program on the implementation of Codex international food standards has been launched for staff of the Food Safety Directorate of the Ministry of Public Health.
The main objective of this program is to strengthen the technical capacity of staff and enhance the country’s food safety system. It will focus on the principles and importance of Codex, improving food safety standards, strengthening the food product registration system, and supporting relevant committees.
Similarly, the Director of Document Analysis and Activities Regulation, Mawlawi Mohammad Musa Faiq, emphasized the importance of ensuring safe and quality food, and called on staff to make effective use of this training program to improve service delivery and ensure the effective implementation of health standards.
