Three-Day Training Program on National Accreditation and Grading Standards for Private Hospitals in Kabul City Started

Dr. Seyed Rasool Mangal, Director General of Planning and Policy; Mawlawi Saifullah Mu'awiya, Executive Director of the National Health Center Accreditation Authority; the National Accreditation Trainer; and 58 in charges from private hospitals participated in the program.

The aim of this training program in the accreditation sector is to improve healthcare and ultimately achieve international standards of health services in Afghanistan.

Dr. Seyed Rasool Mangal spoke about the importance of standards and accreditation, stating: “A standard hospital must operate in accordance with international standards, as compliance with these standards plays a key role in improving the quality of health services, ensuring patient safety, and gaining public trust.” He also emphasized that hospitals must strive to maintain their reputation and, in this regard, give serious attention to the implementation of standards.

Mawlawi Saifullah Mu'awiya stated that effective accreditation is only possible when hospitals properly implement the standards. He emphasized that the regular implementation of these standards preserves a hospital’s credibility and improves the quality of health services.
