A 15-day intensive training program for community health volunteers has been initiated by the Nangarhar Directorate of Public Health

This capacity-building initiative, financially supported by the MSI organization, seeks to equip community health workers (CHWs) with advanced skills over the course of fifteen days.

The comprehensive training will focus on enhancing public health awareness, refining the protocols for referring patients to healthcare facilities, and addressing a range of other critical health-related areas, ensuring these volunteers are well-prepared to contribute effectively to community health services
