6,443 Kilograms of Substandard and Expired Medicines Safely Destroyed in Helmand Province

In Helmand province, 6,443 kilograms of substandard and expired pharmaceuticals and 180 kilograms of assorted chemical substances were safely incinerated.

These pharmaceuticals and substances, which had been collected and secured over the past two months, were disposed of under the supervision of representatives from the Provincial Administration, the Provincial Public Health Directorate, the Intelligence Department, the Municipal Court, the Subordinate Customs Authority, and various other regulatory bodies.
