Al-Hafiz Dr. Naeemullah Ayoubi, Director General of Drugs and Health Products Regulation, met with the Medicines and Medical Equipment Imports’ Association to review the market and traders’ challenges

The meeting focused on facilitating Afghan traders’ medicine imports from Bangladesh, addressing shortages of certain medicines, preventing hoarding and price hikes, speeding up work processes, easing pre-invoice issuance, and launching the registration of health products.

Recently, the Ministry of Public Health’s leadership reached agreements with neighboring countries to provide alternatives for medicines restricted from Pakistan.
