Baghlan Province Destroys Six Tons of Expired and Substandard Food and Medicines

Officials from the Monitoring and Inspection Directorate of Baghlan Provincial Public Health Directorate collected six tons of expired and substandard food and medicines from various areas of Pol-e-Khumri city during the four quarters of 1404 HS. The items were destroyed in the presence of a designated committee.

The items included 1,067 expired medicines and 38 substandard food products, with a total value of 735,037 Afghanis.

Additionally, one chocolate item branded “King Coco” which tested negative in laboratory examinations, was also destroyed.
