Deputy Minister for Food and Drugs Meets Iranian Ambassador to Discuss Health Sector Cooperation

The Deputy Minister for Food and Drugs of the Ministry of Public Health, Mawlawi Hamdullah Zahid, held a meeting with the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Afghanistan, Mr. Alireza Bigdeli.

During the meeting, discussions were held on expanding bilateral cooperation in the fields of food, pharmaceuticals, and health products, improving the quality of healthcare services, and strengthening joint technical cooperation.

Additionally, discussions were held on the registration and evaluation of medicines and health products, quality assurance, capacity building, exchange of professional expertise, and other key issues related to the health sector.

Both sides emphasized the importance of expanding mutual cooperation, implementing joint health programs, and further strengthening bilateral health relations between the two countries.
