The Director of the Polio Eradication Emergency Operation Centre, Mr. Dr Abdul Quddus Baryalai, convenes a meeting with representatives from the Emergency Situations Administration for Afghanistan at his office
During this visit, deliberations were conducted regarding the healthcare initiatives being implemented for the residents of Kandahar, Helmand, Zabul, and Kunduz provinces.
As an outcome of this meeting, both parties reached a consensus to extend humanitarian assistance to individuals requiring medical support, enhance collaboration, improve coordination between the two entities, and ensure that children who have missed polio vaccinations are promptly referred to healthcare facilities.
