Dr. Fazlullah Seerat Participates in International Conference in Turkey

Dr. Fazlullah Seerat, the Health Attaché of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, participated in a three-day international conference held in Izmir, Turkey.

The conference, which focused on health, culture, and tourism, was attended by ambassadors, diplomats, and the Turkish Minister of Health, representing 32 countries.

The Turkish Minister of Health and the Chairperson of Sağlık Turizmi Konfederasyonu (SATKOF) welcomed the participants and emphasized the important role of international cooperation in developing health systems, enhancing cultural capacities, and promoting tourism.

Dr. Seerat provided a brief overview of Afghanistan’s health system and highlighted the importance of sharing international experiences, strengthening health capacities, and promoting joint programs

He stated that expanding international cooperation can improve the quality of Afghanistan’s health services and strengthen staff capacities, paving the way for innovations in public health.

Additionally, during the conference’s specialized sessions, Dr. Seerat and representatives from other countries shared experiences, presented new plans for health cooperation, and discussed the development of joint programs.
