The Minister of Public Health of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA), Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali, held a meeting in his official office with the Head of the Action Against Hunger organization for Afghanistan.

During the meeting, the organization's representative provided an overview of their operational activities and engaged in discussions regarding the enhancement of healthcare service quality, the reduction of service-related expenditures, and the provision of effective, priority-based interventions.

The Minister offered key recommendations to the organization’s leadership, emphasizing the alignment of service delivery with the Ministry of Public Health’s policies, the reassessment of allocated costs—particularly those related to operational and administrative expenses—and the implementation of impactful services based on clearly defined priorities.
