Inspection of Private Health Sectors in Laghman Province

The monitoring and inspection team of the Directorate of Public Health in Laghman Province carried out an inspection in Mehtarlam city, the provincial capital, targeting several pharmacies and wholesale drugstores.

The primary objective of this inspection was to evaluate the adherence to public health standards and enhance the quality of healthcare services. During the process, eight different types of expired medications were collected and subsequently dispatched to the central warehouse for disposal.

Furthermore, as a consequence of this inspection, three major drugstores were closed due to violations of legal regulations.
