Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali, Minister of Public Health of the IEA, met with Mawlawi Abdul Rahman Haqqani, Governor of Khost, at his office

The two sides discussed the healthcare situation in Khost Province, the provision of healthcare services, and the healthcare needs of local residents. The governor called for the expansion and strengthening of healthcare services in the province, emphasizing the importance of comprehensive cooperation from the Ministry of Public Health in this regard.

The Minister of Public Health assured the governor that efforts would be made to strengthen healthcare services in the province and ensure access to quality healthcare for local residents. He stated that the Ministry had initiated a program to construct general hospitals in 318 districts across the country, including Khost Province. He added that general hospitals would also be constructed in the districts of Khost to improve access to quality healthcare services for local communities.
