Medical Equipment Worth Approximately $17,000 Donated to 20-Bed Torkham Hospital in Nangarhar Province

The equipment, valued at a total of $16,800, includes advanced medical equipment and an advanced telemedicine examination machine, which will provide essential healthcare facilities for returning citizens and local residents in the area.

The five medical items, provided with support from the World Health Organization, were handed over to the officials of Torkham 20-Bed Hospital by Nangarhar Deputy Governor, Mawlawi Ghulam Rahman Haidari, and the Public Health Director, Mawlawi Aminullah Sharif.

The Deputy Governor thanked the WHO for its support and assured the officials that the hospital will be further equipped to provide better healthcare services to returning citizens.
