Minister of Public Health Engages with International Organizations to Enhance Healthcare Services and Collaborate on Long-Term Projects
The Minister of Public Health of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali, conducted a meeting in his office with representatives and officials from various international organizations.
The discussions primarily addressed the improvement of healthcare service quality, the establishment of healthcare centres in designated white areas, the integration of parallel initiatives into long-term, effective projects, and the ongoing collaboration with the Ministry regarding healthcare services.
The meeting, attended by representatives from nearly fourteen international organizations, highlighted the necessity of aligning efforts with the Ministry of Public Health. Participants shared the challenges they are currently facing with the Minister, who responded by assuring them of practical solutions and reaffirming the importance of providing high-quality services to the public.
He emphasized the need for standardizing healthcare services to ensure that the most vulnerable populations receive optimal benefits. Additionally, the Minister expressed the Ministry's readiness to engage in lawful cooperation and bilateral coordination with international aid agencies and organizations, while also committing to utilize the Ministry's internal budget to support these initiatives.
