Minister of Public Health Meets Turkish Ambassador to Discuss Strengthening Afghanistan–Turkey Healthcare Cooperation

Kabul, Afghanistan – His Excellency Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali, Minister of Public Health of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, held an official meeting with the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey, Mr. Cenk Ünal, at his office in Kabul.
The meeting focused on a range of key bilateral issues in the health sector, including the enhancement of healthcare cooperation between Afghanistan and Turkey, capacity building for Afghan medical professionals, the expansion of services at Kabul’s Atatürk Hospital, the establishment of specialized departments, the evaluation of Afghanistan’s pharmaceutical system, and the provision of visa facilitation for urgent and vulnerable patients
Discussions also covered Turkey’s commitment to providing comprehensive assistance to Afghanistan’s healthcare system and supporting long-term strategic partnerships in the sector.
Minister Jalali extended his sincere appreciation to the Government of Turkey for its continued and unwavering support in the field of health and emphasized that further collaboration would significantly contribute to the sustainable development of Afghanistan’s healthcare infrastructure.
