Minister of Public Health Visits Kunduz, Vows Support for Healthcare Improvements

KUNDUZ – The Minister of Public Health of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali, accompanied by an official delegation, visited Kunduz province where he held a meeting with Dr. Mohammadullah Hikmat, the Provincial Director of Public Health.

The session was also attended by Sheikh Mohammad Tahir Haleem, Director General of the Minister’s Office, and other senior officials. During the meeting, Dr. Hikmat briefed the minister on the current status of healthcare services across the province. He highlighted key needs, including increased staffing, the construction of new hospitals in underserved areas, and broader healthcare expansion initiatives.

His Excellency Jalali listened to the proposals attentively and assured comprehensive support from the Ministry. He further instructed relevant departments to take practical steps toward improving healthcare accessibility and enhancing services for the local population.
