The Ministry of Public Health has initiated the procurement process for one 1.5-Tesla MRI machine and one 128-slice CT scanner from its domestic budget for the 1405 fiscal year. The initiative aims to strengthen healthcare services and improve access to diagnostic facilities.

Valued at AFN 151,850,000, the procurement is currently at the contract-award stage, with a local Afghan company. The procurement process is expected to be completed in the coming days.

The installation of these machines will enhance Aino Mina Hospital’s diagnostic capacity and enable it to provide patients with quality healthcare services.
