Monitoring Conducted in Food Stores and Private Health Facilities in Paktia and Balkh Provinces

The Monitoring and Inspection Directorate collected 31 expired food items from grocery stores in Paktia Province, and 15 boxes of expired medicines from a major drugstore, which were transferred to the Public Health Directorate for disposal.

Additionally, two salt warehouses in Gardez City were closed for selling substandard salt.

Similarly, in Mazar-e-Sharif, the capital of Balkh Province, five pharmacies, the operating theatre, and laboratory of a private hospital were closed for violating health regulations.
