MoPH EPI Representative Participates in Eastern Zone Immunization Review and Planning Workshops in Nangarhar

Dr. Abdul Hakeem Hemat, representative of the Ministry of Public Health’s National Expanded Program on Immunization, attended the annual review workshop for Nangarhar, Kunar, Laghman, and Nuristan in Nangarhar Province.

The workshop, aimed at improving the implementation of the immunization program, saw Dr. Hemat provide key recommendations to strengthen vaccination efforts.

He will also join a one-day workshop to develop a Road Map for prioritizing and organizing immunization activities in Nangarhar, helping to identify challenges and propose solutions.

Additionally, Dr. Hemat will monitor immunization services in the province to assess and improve program delivery.
