MoPH Inspection Delegation Conducts Oversight of Private Hospitals in Herat Province

As part of his visit to Herat Province, Mawlawi Mahmoodullah Zahid, Director of Health Regulations Implementation and Inspection of the Ministry of Public Health, accompanied by a technical delegation, carried out oversight inspections of Habib Yar International Hospital, Luqman Hakim Complex Hospital, and Mofeed Complex Hospital in the province.

During the inspections, the quality of healthcare services, patient care processes, staff performance, availability and management of medicines and equipment, laboratory and vaccination services, hygiene standards, maternal and child health services, reporting systems, hospital cleanliness, and infection prevention measures were assessed against the MoPH’s standards. The inspection team emphasized improving service quality, adhering to communicable disease control protocols, utilizing available resources effectively, and ensuring the delivery of quality healthcare services to patients.

The team also met with patients and healthcare workers to gather their feedback and suggestions regarding service quality, staff conduct, and existing challenges. They emphasized accountability, transparency, and respect for patients’ rights.
