A new health center, built at a cost of $385,000, has been completed and put into operation in Deh Rawood District of Uruzgan Province

The inauguration ceremony was attended by the Minister of Public Health, Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali, and his accompanying delegation; Uruzgan Governor Mawlawi Abdul Rahman Kunduzai; tribal elders; and local residents. The health center was constructed with financial support from UNHCR.

The new health center (NEW CHC) was constructed on a 5,096-square-meter site. Once operational, it will provide local residents with access to essential healthcare services and help address many of their healthcare needs.
