The trauma centers were equipped with financial support from UNICEF, with each center receiving medical equipment and supplies worth USD 70,000. They were established to provide timely, high-quality emergency care, ensure rapid treatment for trauma patients, and reduce the need to transfer patients to distant healthcare facilities.

Sheikh Mawlawi Abdul Wahid Hamas, Director of Public Health for Ghor Province, expressed appreciation for UNICEF's support and emphasized the effective use of the equipment, the delivery of quality healthcare services, and the timely treatment of patients.

He described the opening of the trauma centers as a significant step toward strengthening emergency healthcare services and improving access to healthcare for residents of Lal and Sarjangal districts.
