MoPH EPR Delegation Reviews Flood Response in Nuristan Province

A delegation appointed by the Ministry of Public Health’s Emergency Preparedness and Response (EPR) Committee met with officials of the Nuristan Provincial Public Health Directorate to assess the damage caused by the recent floods and discuss measures to ensure proper medical care for the injured.

The meeting was also attended by representatives of the World Health Organization (WHO), UNICEF, and implementing partners. Committee officials received a briefing on the damage caused by the recent floods in Nuristan and the assistance provided to the injured. They explained that the purpose of their visit was to ensure an effective response to the recent incident in the province and provided guidance on effective incident management.

The Nuristan health officials shared their recommendations and pledged to provide appropriate healthcare services to those affected by the recent incident.
