MoPH and IOM Discuss Strengthening Border Health Coordination and DHIS2 Data Integration
Mufti Abdul Quddus Hashimi, Director General of Monitoring and Inspection of the Ministry of Public Health, held a meeting with technical representatives of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) at his office.
During the meeting, comprehensive discussions were held on improving coordination of the activities of health teams operating in the country’s border areas, strengthening cooperation with the Ministry of Public Health’s Surveillance Department, and integrating health data into the DHIS2 system.
It was also agreed that a standardized form would be developed for collecting, recording, and reporting health data from border areas. This will enable relevant information to be accurately, systematically, and consistently recorded and managed through the Ministry of Public Health’s DHIS2 system.
