Seven-Day Research Methodology Training Held for Resident Doctors

The Directorate General of Postgraduate Medical Studies of the MoPH, in collaboration with the administration of Wazir Mohammad Akbar Khan Hospital, conducted a seven-day training program on Research Methodology to strengthen the specialized training, academic knowledge, and research skills of resident doctors.

A total of 28 resident doctors from the postgraduate medical training program participated in the training. The program aimed to strengthen their research knowledge and skills, familiarize them with the principles and fundamentals of scientific research, and enhance their capacity to design and conduct health research.

Instructors covered key topics, including research principles and concepts, types of scientific studies, data collection and analysis methods, proposal and scientific paper writing, research ethics, and other essential aspects of conducting research.

The participants expressed satisfaction with the quality of the training, noting that the program would contribute to improving their research and professional skills. They also emphasized the importance of continuing similar training programs in the future.
