MoPH Health Laws Enforcement Director Assesses Healthcare Services in Samangan District
Mawlawi Mahmoodullah Zahid, Director of Health Laws Enforcement and Inspection of the Ministry of Public Health, accompanied by a technical delegation, visited the CHC health facility and the 30-bed drug addiction treatment hospital in Hazrat Sultan District of Samangan Province.
The quality of health services, the provision of services to patients, the presence of health workers, work discipline, the status of medicines and medical equipment, laboratory services, hygiene, compliance with infection prevention and control measures, registration and reporting systems, and the overall condition of the facilities were assessed against the standards of the Ministry of Public Health.
The delegation also provided necessary recommendations on improving the quality of health services, adhering to infection prevention and control measures, making effective use of available resources, and providing standard health services to patients.
The delegation further met with health workers and patients, listened to their views on the quality of services and existing challenges, and emphasized accountability, transparency, compliance with standards, and safeguarding patients’ rights.
