During this meeting, discussions centred on the ongoing collaboration between the organization and Afghanistan in the healthcare sector, technical assistance provided to bolster the health sector, and the need for enhanced coordination between the two entities, among other topics.

His Excellency Dr Qalandar Ebad, the Minister of Public Health, identified the provision of standardized healthcare services to all citizens as a top priority. He stated, "We are committed to improving the quality of healthcare services and delivering better healthcare to our citizens through collaboration with our health partners."

Conversely, the UNICEF representative for Afghanistan emphasized the continuation of their partnership and highlighted the importance of strengthened coordination between both parties in the realm of healthcare.
