The Paktia Provincial Directorate of Public Health, through its health regulations oversight team, has shut down 3 laboratories, 10 clinics, 3 treatment rooms, and 1 X-ray facility in Gardez city due to breaches of health regulations in the private healthcare sector.

Furthermore, relevant officials have been instructed to refrain from issuing coded prescriptions and to deliver healthcare services to patients in line with the Ministry of Public Health's guidelines.
