A five-day training program organizes for 12 medical technologists
A comprehensive five-day training program was meticulously organized for 12 medical technologists representing seven regional reference laboratories and the National Malaria Program, under the auspices of the Ministry of Public Health, with the primary aim of advancing their expertise in the sophisticated methodologies of PCR and ELISA.
This initiative, spearheaded by the Central Laboratories Directorate within the Ministry’s Diagnostic Department and financially underpinned by the Global Fund and the ADDA Foundation, sought to significantly enhance the diagnostic capabilities of these technologists. The participants were provided with an intensive blend of theoretical knowledge and hands-on practical experience, delivered by esteemed experts in the field, ensuring a thorough understanding of PCR and ELISA techniques.
It is worth noting that the Ministry of Public Health has proactively set out plans to continue offering such high-level training sessions for medical technologists across various provinces, thereby fostering improved diagnostic precision and ensuring that all patients within the nation benefit from world-class diagnostic services.
