The annual coordination meeting for the polio program has commenced

This significant gathering features esteemed participants, including Mawlawi Abdul Wali Haqqani, the Deputy Minister of Health Services at the Ministry of Public Health; AlHaj Dr. Abdul Qudus Baryali, the Director of the National Emergency Operations Center for Polio Eradication; provincial health directors; representatives from the World Health Organization; immunization personnel; officials from regional emergency operations centers dedicated to polio eradication; and key partners in the initiative.

Over the course of the next two days, the meeting aims to critically evaluate the current advancements within the polio program, identify prevailing challenges, and devise effective strategies to address these issues.
