Empowering Health Workers: Five-Day Training on Non-Communicable Disease Prevention and Control

A five-day "Training of Trainers (TOT)" workshop was organized by the Department of Control and Prevention of Non-Communicable Diseases under the Ministry of Public Health for community health workers.

The workshop included 28 health volunteers, who received training on non-communicable disease prevention, public awareness, providing health advice, and referring patients to appropriate facilities.

Dr. Mohammad Sami Karimi, head of the Non-Communicable Diseases Prevention and Control Department, highlighted the effectiveness of such programs and encouraged participants to share their newly acquired knowledge with colleagues at health centers and hospitals.
